Ukraine increases gas production by 1.7% in Jan-June
Gas production in Ukraine in January-June 2016 increased by 1.7% year-on-year, to 10.006 billion cubic meters, a source in the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry has told Interfax-Ukraine.
According to the ministry, Naftogaz Ukrainy during this period reduced gas production by 1.1%, to 7.963 billion cubic meters. In particular, PJSC Ukrgazvydobuvannia produced 7.308 billion cubic meters, and PJSC Ukrnafta produced 655 million cubic meters.
Other working oil and gas companies in the country in January-June 2016 increased production of gas by 14.2%, to 2.043 billion cubic meters
The largest gas producers in January-June 2016 were PrJSC Naftogazvydobuvannia with 775.93 million cubic meters, ESKO-Pivnich 324.087 million cubic meters, PrJSC Ukrnaftoburinnia 154.074 million cubic meters, PrJSC Natural Resources 112.32 million cubic meters, KUB-Gas 106.835 million cubic meters, Poltava Petroleum Company 91.31 million cubic meters, PrJSC Davon 62.781 million cubic meters, First Ukrainian Petroleum Company LLC with 59.414 million cubic meters, PrJSC Ukrgazvydobutok 58.94 million cubic meters and other companies.
