Rada dismisses Laputina from Veterans Minister post
The Verkhovna Rada has dismissed Yulia Laputina, Minister of Veterans Affairs, from her post.
This decision was supported by 302 MPs at the plenary session on Wednesday.
As reported, Laputina's resignation was submitted to the Verkhovna Rada on Monday, February 5.
The Ukrainian Parliament appointed Laputina Minister of Veterans Affairs in December 2020.
In early November 2023, the public council under the Ministry of Veterans called on Laputina to resign from the post of minister.
At the end of January 2024, Laputina stated that there was no talk of resignation in the corridors of power with her.
The live broadcast of the parliament session is conducted by MP Oleksiy Honcharenko (European Solidarity faction).
