Death toll in Hroza village, Kharkiv region, increases to 52 people – local authorities
The death toll as a result of a missile attack on the village of Hroza, Kupiansky district, Kharkiv region, has increased to 52 people, Head of regional military administration Oleh Synehubov said.
"Now 52 people have died as a result of this missile attack, since one person died in a medical facility," Synehubov said on a national telethon on Friday morning.
He also said many of the victims are in serious condition.
According to him, specialists continue to work at the scene to "make sure that all the bodies and remains have been recovered," as well as to identify them.
As reported, on October 5, at about 13:25, Russian occupation forces launched a strike (presumably with an Iskander-M missile) on a cafe in the village of Hroza, Kupiansky district of the region. At the time of the attack, a wake was taking place in the cafe. It was known about 51 dead and six wounded.
According to Synehubov, October 6 to 8 in Kharkiv region have been declared days of mourning for the victims.
