Defense intelligence tells main factors of success of operation in Kupiansk axis
Separate groups of special forces of the Main Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, in particular fighters of the International Legion and the Legion Freedom of Russia, are taking part in the mission to stabilize the situation in Kupiansk (Kharkiv region), one of the key roles in its planning and implementation is taken by soldiers of the2nd Khartia Corps of the National Guard, the intelligence press service reported.
"Separate groups of special forces from the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, including fighters of the International Legion and the Freedom of Russia Legion, are taking part in the ongoing mission to stabilize the situation in Kupiansk and its surrounding areas," the press service reported on its Telegram channel on Tuesday.
It is noted that Ukrainian military intelligence officers "express their gratitude and respect to all units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine involved in the operation. Special words of honor go to our combat brothers from the 2nd Khartia Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine, who played one of the key roles in planning and carrying out the decisive operation in the Kupiansk direction."
"The successful actions of Ukraine’s Security and Defense Forces in the Kupiansk direction are an important example of skill and coordination on the battlefield, adding confidence to all units along the line of contact with the Russian occupiers," the report notes.
"Effective counterattacks, clear command and control of the battle, technological solutions, high morale, and determination of Ukrainian forces led to the systematic destruction of the enemy, cut off the remaining Russian occupiers in Kupiansk from logistics, and once again globally devalued the propagandistic bravado of the Kremlin dictator and the general staff of the Russian occupation army," the statement said.
"The success near Kupiansk proves that unity and a professional approach to active combat operations enable Ukraine’s Security and Defense Forces to achieve important victories in the war against the aggressor state, Russia," military intelligence concluded.
