Energoatom, Ukrhydroenergo providing targeted assistance to vulnerable categories of population – PM Svyrydenko
Starting today, Energoatom and Ukrhydroenergo are joining the initiative to provide targeted assistance to vulnerable categories of the population, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko has announced.
"We continue to provide targeted assistance to those who need it most - people with disabilities and single pensioners. I met with the management of the Naftogaz Group, Energoatom, and Ukrhydroenergo regarding the increase in this assistance. The Naftogaz Group continues to provide appropriate support. Starting today, Energoatom and Ukrhydroenergo are also joining this initiative," Svyrydenko said on Telegram.
According to her, in addition to Kyiv and Kyiv region, assistance will be provided in regions where the situation is particularly difficult, including frontline regions.
The Prime Minister reported that as of now, the first 10,000 "Heat Packages" financed by the Naftogaz Group have already been distributed in the districts of Kyiv and Kyiv region.
"The package contains items that will help get through the cold period, keep warm, stay connected, and charge medical devices," she added.
