Zelenskyy: Parties in Abu Dhabi to discuss key issue – Donbas
The Donbas issue remains a key one, and Ukraine, the United States, and Russia will discuss it during their meetings in the UAE today and tomorrow, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
"The Donbas issue is key. It will be discussed, and discussed in the modalities that the three parties see fit. In Abu Dhabi, today and tomorrow," Zelenskyy told reporters on Friday.
The President noted that the head of the negotiating team, National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) Secretary Rustem Umerov, will provide him with "appropriate signals" at every stage of any conversations or agreements.
"We will share with you," the head of state added.
As reported, teams from Ukraine, Russia, and the United States will meet in the United Arab Emirates on Friday and Saturday.
"The American team will travel to Moscow today. They were looking forward to our meeting with President Trump, and now they will go, and my team will meet with the American team. I think this will be the first trilateral meeting in the Emirates. I think it will be tomorrow and the day after. It will be a two-day meeting in the Emirates," Zelenskyy said during the World Economic Forum in Davos.
