Russian advance accelerates sharply during week, especially near Siversk and Hulyaipole - DeepState

Russia has increased the area of control over Ukrainian territory by 153.66 sq km during the past week from the morning of December 15 to the morning of December 22. That’s the most this year and 86% more than the week before last, when the enemy occupied 82.72 sq km, as well as 13% more than in mid-November, when the enemy was rapidly advancing towards the city of Hulyaipole in Zaporizhia region, according to maps from the DeepState OSINT project.

At the same time, on the Hulyaipole axis, where the advance of the occupiers almost stopped in mid-December, the enemy has advanced again, approaching the outskirts of Hulyaipole from the east and south. The enemy captured 31.51 sq km there last week, while the week before last – only 2.67 sq km.

But the invaders captured the most in on the Siversk axis, increasing the area of occupation by 103.12 sq km per week. The week before last Russia had captured only 22.31 sq km in the same area.

In contrast, the enemy reduced the pace of advance in the Pokrovsk direction in the west of Donetsk region to 14.89 sq km last week, and in the neighboring Dobropolsky direction, the advance stopped, while in the week before last, in the Pokrovsk and Dobropillia directions together, the enemy captured 49.87 sq km.

Also, last week, the enemy captured only 4.14 sq km in the Limansky direction in the north of Donetsk region, neighboring Seversky, while in the week before last - 7.87 sq km. The enemy’s advance rate there has been decreasing for several weeks in a row.

In the Kupyansk direction in the Kharkiv region, no enemy advance was recorded last week, but the liberation of new territories is also not indicated on the map.

The "gray zone" of uncertain control last week on the Hulyaypolia axis increased by 31.52 sq km, in the Pokrovsk and Dobropillia directions - by 10.3 sq km, while in the Chasovoyarsk, Kostiantynivka and Siversk directions in the east and north of the Donetsk region it decreased by 39.61 sq km, in near Lyman - by 2.53 sq km.

The "gray zone" also increased in the Zaporizhia direction (by 15.42 sq km) and Volchansky (by 4.89 sq km), where the occupiers did not increase the area of stable control during the week.

In total, the area of the "gray zone" increased by 19.99 sq km last week, while the week before last it decreased by 25.17 sq km.

Oon average last week the occupiers increased the area of control by an average of 21.95 sq km per day, and the "gray zone" increased by an average of 2.86 sq km.

The week before last the occupiers increased the area of control by an average of 11.8 sq km per day, and the "gray zone" decreased by an average of 3.6 sq km per day.

As reported, in the last week of August and the first of September the area of ​​Russian occupation increased by an average of 10.7 sq km per day, which is 1.5 times less than in mid-August. In September, the occupiers’ advance continued at a slightly lower pace, which remained stable throughout October. In November, the enemy’s advance rate increased sharply due to the enemy’s active advance towards Hulyaipole, but then decreased again. In total, in November of this year, the enemy occupied 505 sq km of Ukrainian territory, which is almost twice as much as in September.
