URCS providing assistance to victims of Russian missile strike on Izium

The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) provides assistance to victims of the Russian missile strike on Izium (Kharkiv region).
“Today, the Ukrainian Red Cross team provided assistance at the site of a missile strike in Izium … Volunteers from Izium unit of the Ukrainian Red Cross emergency response team in Kharkiv region inspected the surrounding areas and buildings for injured individuals, administered first aid to those affected, and offered psychological first aid to local residents,” URCS said on Facebook Tuesday.
In addition, the volunteers provided first aid to local residents.
Volunteers from the Izium city-district branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross also work at the site, collecting information on the population’s priority needs for further support. At the request of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, a mobile heating station and a search and rescue dog unit from Kharkiv's emergency response team are being sent to the town.
As reported, as a result of a missile strike on Izium on Tuesday, five people were killed, 55 injured, part of the city council building, the administrative building and residential high-rise buildings were destroyed.
