Zelenskyy: Putin does not need real peace, but opportunity to do this to any country – with bombs, missiles
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to the Russian shelling of Zaporizhia and Kryvy Rih, noting that Vladimir Putin does not need peace, but the opportunity to do this to any country – with bombs and missiles.
"Thousands of such strikes carried out by Russia during this war quite clearly state: Putin does not need real peace, he only needs the opportunity to do this to any country – with bombs, missiles, all other violence. Only force can resist this. And only through force can real peace be established," Zelenskyy said in Telegram channel on Friday.
Earlier it was reported that the number of victims in Zaporizhia after the attack of the occupiers with high-explosive bombs increased to 19, one of them is in serious condition, and nine people are also known to have died. In addition, as a result of the missile strike of the occupiers on the city of Kryvy Rih in Dnipropetrovsk region, two people died, 19 were injured.
