Supernova aircraft performs first cargo charter flight from Budapest to Chisinau
A Boeing 737-800 from the fleet of Supernova Airlines of the NOVA group of companies (Nova Poshta) performed the first cargo charter flight from Budapest to Chisinau on Sunday.
"On Sunday, November 10, Supernova Airlines performed the first cargo charter flight on its own Boeing 737-800 aircraft from Budapest to Chisinau," the press service of the NOVA group of companies reported on Monday.
It is reported that the flight was performed at the request of Nova Global. It allowed to practice and test the synchronization of procedures and processes for the delivery of parcels and cargo to recipients in Moldova.
"The next step is testing cargo transit to Ukraine using road transport," the company's press service clarified.
Supernova Airlines plans to further develop its route network and gradually increase the number of flights to meet the needs of NOVA and the growing demand for air cargo transportation, the company said.
The press service of Nova Poshta recalled that Supernova Airlines is preparing to open regular flights to the United States and is in the process of obtaining operating permits for flights to the country.
The airline already has an operator certificate issued by the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine and a Part-TCO certificate from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), allowing the company to operate charter flights to the EU.
