Podoliak: Victory Plan is balanced structure based on intl law, forcing Russia to peace
The peace plan of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, presented in the United States, is based on a clear balanced logic based on international law, but the implementation of this law can only be ensured by forcing Russia, Adviser to the head of the President's Office Mykhailo Podoliak has said.
"Zelenskyy's plan is based on the specific logic that first, you can resist the aggressor, second, you can transfer the war to his territory... Third, there is also a resource deficit in Russia, so it is necessary to increase economic pressure on Russia. Fourth, if there is a parity in the amount of high-tech weapons, then you will have a significant advantage along the front line," he said on the air of a nationwide telethon on Friday
"And fifth, the key one. As soon as the war is perceived differently in Russia, we will have completely different social sentiments there, a completely different level of pressure on Putin and his entourage, and a very rapid dismantling of the system, which is provocative and which cannot exist in the modern world. This is a plan based on facts, as opposed to theorizing on the topic: 'can we end this war in the interval between freezing and capitulation," Podoliak said, commenting on materials in the Western media about the need to revise the vision of Ukraine's victory in the war.
"The victory plan is a structure of coercion of Russia, absolutely balanced, because we clearly understand how this is happening in the example of Kursk region and in the example of long-range strikes on the territory of other regions of Russia with long-range weapons of Ukrainian manufacture. And thus coercion is economic... to deprive Russia of money for the war as much as possible. The second block is military coercion with clear mathematical calculations developed by specialists and with corresponding social consequences. Next, diplomatic pressure," Podoliak described the contours of the victory plan.
