Zelenskyy on Tomahawk: If partners reveal confidential details of Victory Plan, they are not willing to give anything
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes that the publication of Ukraine’s request to partner countries to provide it with missiles, which were contained in a closed annex of his Victory Plan, without providing this assistance, speaks of the indecision of the allies.
"Any plan is strong when it is supported. If you want to publicly say some details of closed annexes that are in the plan, which concern, for example, the missiles that we asked our partners, then first say that I am giving, and then tell everyone what is in the annex. Because when one of the partners first says that it is in the annex, it means that he does not really want to give something, thus postponing the decision," Zelenskyy said at a meeting with the heads of territorial communities and districts of Zakarpattia.
He noted that Ukraine "did not disclose everything that was in the Victory Plan for partners." "Partners have already started to give some messages in the information space abroad. To be honest, I do not really support this," Zelenskyy said.
On October 29, The New York Times reported that the published point of the Victory Plan, which Zelenskyy presented to Western allies, included a "non-nuclear deterrence package" within the framework of which Ukraine should receive Tomahawk missiles.
On October 30, Zelenskyy said that the information that Ukraine wanted to receive Tomahawk missiles was confidential.
