The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) refutes information that appeared on the Internet about the alleged closure of the Red Cross mission in the city of Dnipro.

"We inform you that the Ukrainian Red Cross continues its activities in Dnipropetrovsk region, moreover, it is working in an enhanced mode, because, despite almost daily shelling, the region continues to be a refuge for internally displaced people."

It is reported that every day the URCS rapid response units in Dnipro and other cities of Dnipropetrovsk region meet evacuation trains from frontline regions, help people with limited mobility and passengers with children to get to temporary shelters.

In addition, Dnipropetrovsk regional organization of URCS recently signed a memorandum of cooperation with Dnipropetrovsk Regional Employment Service to strengthen cooperation in providing information and consulting services to war veterans, internally displaced persons, family members of deceased servicemen and refugees who returned to Ukraine. The Ukrainian Red Cross not only supports people by providing humanitarian assistance, but also creates additional jobs.
