Police report attempt on life of public figure in Lviv
Lviv region police are establishing the circumstances of the attempt on the life of a public figure, the Telegram channel of the National Police said on Friday evening, without indicating the name of the victim.
"A woman with a gunshot wound to the head was hospitalized... Investigators, operatives, and the leadership of Lviv region police are working on the spot. Measures are being taken to identify and detain the shooter," the police said.
According to the police, the event occurred at about 19:30 "on one of the streets of Lviv." "An unknown person fired a weapon at a 60-year-old woman. Doctors hospitalized the victim with a head wound," the police said in a statement.
