NBU plans to finish stress tests for 20 largest banks in late Nov
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) plans to finish stress tests for 20 largest banks by the end of November, NBU Governor Valeriya Gontareva has said.
"In late November we are waiting for the completion of stress tests for 20 largest banks and the submission of recapitalization plans by the banks. Thus, we will better understand risks that the current state of the banking system is bringing, their impact on the monetary policy," she said.
Additionally, she said that at present the crediting of affiliated persons in 20 largest banks of the country is being assessed.
""In the near future we expect that banks would bring the crediting schedules in line with the requirements. Banks have three years to bring these indicators to the normal level," she said.
As reported, the NBU plans to finish diagnostic exercises for the whole banking system of the country by the middle of 2016.
