Points of invincibility will now have internet via xPON or Starlink – First Dpty PM
The government has adopted a resolution that allows all points of invincibility to have non-volatile internet via xPON technology or Starlink terminals, First Deputy Prime Minister for Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov said.
"Each such hub must be equipped with xPON or Starlink so that Ukrainians stay connected and can work even during long power outages," Fedorov said on his Telegram channel on Wednesday.
The website of the Ministry of Digital Transformation added that each point will have its own digital address, which will allow specialists to automatically check the operation of the network at a specific point.
"If the connection disappears, we will instantly see it and react before you get to the point," the Ministry of Digital Transformation added.
As reported, the First Deputy Prime Minister noted that currently more than 2.1 million homes are connected to xPON.
