Dynamo Kyiv scores important victory over Stade Rennais in UEFA Europa League
FC Dynamo Kyiv beat French FC Stade Rennais in its own field in France, scoring 2:1 as part of the Round 3 game in the group stage of UEFA Europa League.
In the 21st minute of the game, the score was opened with a spectacular shot from outside the box by FC Dynamo Kyiv's defendant Tomasz Kedziora who comes from Poland. In the 40th minute, a goal was kicked by Clément Grenier of FC Stade Rennais after Dynamo's goalkeeper Denys Boiko failed, putting the teams back on level terms.
In the 85th minute, Volodymyr Shepelev of FC Dynamo Kyiv had to leave the field after getting his second yellow card for a bad foul. However, just four minutes later the guests managed to grab the victory out of the hands of the hosts. Halfback Vitaliy Buyalskiy of FC Dynamo Kyiv right footed shot from the right side of the box to the center of the goal.
In another match of the group, Czech FK Jablonec played a 1:1 draw in their own field with FC Astana.
After three rounds, FC Astana and FC Dynamo Kyiv are leading the way having five points each. FC Stade Rennais received three points, and FK Jablonec got two.
