National Police report 11 victims in Kharkiv, incl. two minors

One person was killed and 11 were injured, including two minors, as a result of Russian invaders striking Kharkiv with guided aerial bombs on Sunday, according to the website of the National Police of Ukraine.

"As of 17:00, one man, born in 1951, was reported dead, 11 more people were injured, including two minors. All civilians. As a result of airstrikes, residential buildings, an educational institution, private households, and cars were destroyed and damaged," the police communications department in Kharkiv region reports.

According to law enforcement officials, criminal proceedings have been opened under Part 2 of Article 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The investigative team, criminologists, and explosives experts are collecting material evidence of the Russian crime and documenting the consequences of the shelling.

The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine announced the start of a pretrial investigation into violations of the laws and customs of war (Article 438 of the Criminal Code).

"In Kholodnohirsky district, a hit was recorded in a private residential sector. A 73-year-old man was killed. Eight people were injured and suffered an acute stress reaction: a 16-year-old boy, four men and three women. More than 10 residential buildings were damaged. In Shevchenkivsky district, a building of an educational institution was partially destroyed, high-rise buildings and cars were damaged. A 15-year-old boy and a 26-year-old girl were injured. A 43-year-old woman had an acute reaction to stress," the department said in a statement on its Telegram channel.

Two more hits were also documented on the territory of one of the enterprises in the city. A total of four strikes were recorded. Previously, the enemy used a KAB-250 (guided aerial bomb with a unified planning and correction module).
