Ukrainian Red Cross hands over two ambulances to medical institutions in Kamyanets-Podilsky district of Khmelnytsky region
The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) handed over two specially equipped ambulances to medical institutions in Kamyanets-Podilsky district of Khmelnytsky region.
“The cars were handed over to the Primary Health Care Center of Staroushytsky village Council and the multidisciplinary central district hospital of Slobodsko-Kulchyvetsky village Council. A team of the Ukrainian Red Cross mobile medical brigade will work in each car: a doctor, a nurse and a driver who will travel to remote settlements of the region to provide primary medical care. This will allow people to receive timely medical services where there is limited access to them,” the Ukrainian Red Cross said on Facebook on Friday.
Special vehicles can also be used, if necessary, to transport patients to specialized hospitals.
The transfer of cars took place with the assistance of the Norwegian Red Cross, which supports the project.
