Umerov in Ankara discusses defense cooperation, situation at front, Black Sea region with his Turkish colleague
Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov in Ankara discussed with Minister of National Defense of Türkiye Yasar Güler the issues of deepening cooperation between the countries in the field of defense, as well as the situation at the front.
"Today in Ankara it was an honor to meet with Minister of National Defense of Türkiye Yasar Güler. We discussed issues of deepening cooperation between our countries in the field of defense. We emphasized the importance of strengthening the strategic partnership between Ukraine and Türkiye," Umerov wrote on Facebook.
He also informed that an extended meeting was held in Türkiye with the participation of delegations, where the prospects for further mutual cooperation were discussed in detail.
"I informed my Turkish colleague in detail about the situation at the front. A separate focus is the security situation in the Black Sea region. We are strengthening good neighborly relations," Umerov noted.
