URCS volunteers working to eliminate consequences of Russian night attacks

Volunteers of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) are working to eliminate the consequences of Russian night attacks in Kryvyi Rih, Sumy and Myrnohrad.

Due to another Russian shelling, a residential high-rise building was hit ...Volunteers of the rapid response unit of the Kryvyi Rih organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross were working at the scene of the tragedy," the URCS reported on Facebook on Wednesday.

Volunteers provided the first medical and psychological assistance to the victims. In addition, they have set up a rescue point where one can get a warm blanket and drink tea.

The volunteers of the URCS rapid response unit are also working in Sumy, where a Russian drone partially destroyed a multi-storey apartment building at night.

In Myrnohrad (Donetsk region), volunteers of the rapid response unit of the Myrnohrad town organization of URCS participated in a rescue operation after enemy shelling. Volunteers, together with the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, dismantled the rubble and transported the victims to a medical facility.

As reported, as a result of yesterday's rocket attack on Kryvyi Rih, four people were killed and 44 injured.

According to Sumy Regional Military Administration, as of 7:00 on Wednesday in Sumy, as a result of an enemy UAV of the shahed type hitting a five-story residential building, there are preliminary deaths (information is being clarified), 10 people were rescued from the rubble, eight of whom received injuries of varying severity, 30 apartments were damaged, 15 of them destroyed. Emergency rescue operations are continuing.

As a result of the overnight Russian shelling of Myrnohrad, a five-storey house was hit, two people were killed and five injured.
