Polish farmers block movement of trucks at Dorohusk-Yahodyn BCP, tried to impede movement of trains, allow buses to pass
The movement of trucks at the international Dorohusk-Yahodyn border crossing point (BCP) was completely blocked in both directions on Sunday by Polish farmers holding a large-scale protest on the access roads in front of Dorohusk, according a report on the Telegram channel of the State Customs Service.
"Contrary to the protesters' promises to allow perishable, dangerous or humanitarian cargo through, not a single truck has crossed the border since then," the service said.
At the same time, regular buses were allowed through as usual, without queues.
"According to a video distributed online, since noon on February 18, Polish protesters have been trying to obstruct the movement of trains on the railway tracks in Dorohusk, which may be a false start to the action previously announced for February 20," the State Customs Service said.
According to the service, the participation of farmers from other European countries in the Polish protest on Sunday evening, announced the day before, has not been confirmed.
