Budanov believes no miracle technologies will help radically change course of long war
Unfortunately, no miracle technologies will help radically change the course of a long-term war, other factors are much more important, according to Kyrylo Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Agency (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
“The question is how to allocate resources, how to use what is available, and how to plan supply lines. In a prolonged war, the side that has a more powerful economy and logistics wins,” Budanov said in an interview with the French edition of Liberation.
According to him, the situation on the battlefield remains difficult, but not critical.
“Our war is not unique. It's just a high-intensity conflict using the full range of available weapons. We are not on the verge of using weapons of mass destruction, but everything else ― from submarines to strategic aviation ― has been used for a long time,” Budanov said.
