Zelenskyy about meeting with Zaluzhny: We discussed who could be in renewed AFU leadership, I suggested him to stay in team
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a meeting with Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Valeriy Zaluzhny during which they discussed who could be in the renewed leadership of the AFU.
"I met with General Valeriy Zaluzhny. I thanked him for two years of Ukraine's defense. We discussed what updates the Armed Forces of Ukraine need. We also discussed who could be in a renewed leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is high time for such an update," the head of state said on the Telegram channel on Thursday.
Zelenskyy also emphasized that he suggested Zaluzhny staying in team.
