PGO: Four people wounded as result of shelling by occupiers in Kherson region

As a result of shelling by occupation forces in Beryslav, a local resident was injured, in the village of Inhulets – two more, the Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) said.

"According to the investigation, on the afternoon of February 2, the Russian military attacked the city of Kherson and Beryslav district of the region," the PGO said in a statement on the Telegram channel on Friday.

Reportedly, in Beryslav, "the enemy attacked the civilian population with drones. A local resident was injured due to the dropping of explosives and was taken to the hospital." Also, according to the PGO, in the village of Inhulets, a 59-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man were injured due to shelling.

Earlier it was reported with reference to Head of Kherson city military administration Roman Mrochko, that as a result of an air strike on Kherson, a 73-year-old woman was wounded. The PGO said the airstrike was preliminary carried out from an SU-34. Due to a shell hitting an apartment building, it was partially destroyed.

"Under the procedural leadership of the prosecutor's office of Kherson region, an investigation has been launched into criminal proceedings into violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)," the PGO said.
