De-occupation of Crimea needs be resolved in diplomatic steps, maybe ten years later – Zelensky
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky believes that the issue of de-occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea needs to be resolved in a diplomatic way after the cessation of hostilities, maybe ten years later.
"We do not trade our territory. So, the question of territorial integrity and sovereignty are out of discussion. There are difficult questions regarding temporarily occupied territories. There are principal difficulties. We are ready to put off some issues of the agenda, like the Crimea issue. We are prepared to talk about having the Crimean issue, de-occupation of Crimea should be resolved in a diplomatic format, maybe like ten years later," the head of state said in an interview with Fox News.
He said that on globally, this issue "needs to be resolved, such as: the end of the war, and then diplomatic steps."
