Occupiers release village head of Velykoburlutska community – Synehubov

Russian occupiers have released Viktor Tereschenko, the head of Velykoburlutska community of Kharkiv region, who was kidnapped by them the day before, Head of the regional military administration Oleh Synehubov said.

"I just spoke to him [with Tereschenko], now he is in the hospital. Viktor Mykolayovych is a fine fellow, a mountain standing up for the community and protecting national interests," Synehubov said in his Telegram channel.

He also said the occupiers did not allow the delivery of humanitarian aid along the agreed "green corridors."

"The occupiers did not allow us to carry out humanitarian aid along certain 'green corridors,' in particular to the city of Izium. We decided to establish logistics centers in the settlements nearby, then deliver them to residents with the help of volunteers. Once again, thanks to everyone who, despite the shelling, provides the bulk of the most necessary. You are Heroes!" Synehubov said.
