Ukrainian special services detain over 100 crime lords, including from Russia, Moldova, at crime boss funerals
The Ukrainian Security Service jointly with the National Police detained 106 people from the criminal community, who arrived for the funerals of crime boss Liokha Krasnodonsky in the area of Sviatohirsk in order to check the legality of their stay in Ukraine.
"The criminal, who is notorious for organizing actions of disobedience among the convicts in the penitentiaries, died of a heart attack due to the drug overdose on August 25," the Ukrainian Security Service press center said in a statement released on Sunday evening.
The operatives of the special services are currently checking the detained crime lords, who came, in particular, from Russia, Moldova and the self-proclaimed Donbas republics, for their possible connections with the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics (DPR, LPR).
