Eight Ukrainian servicemen injured in Donbas in past 24 hours – Kyiv

Eight Ukrainian servicemen have been injured, none have been killed in the special operation zone in eastern Ukraine in the past 24 hours, presidential administration spokesman Oleksandr Motuzianyk said.

"We have lost not a single fighter, but eight have been injured in the hostilities in the past 24 hours. Three servicemen in Stanytsia Luhanska, one in Maryinka and four in Avdiyivka. In all cases these were injuries in militant attacks," he said at a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.

In the Luhansk area six attacks of the adversary have been recorded in Stanytsia Luhanska and Triokhizbenka, Motuzianyk said.

In the Donetsk area the situation has improved, 11 attacks have been recorded there in the past 24 hours, half of them with the use of mortars. The attacks mainly took place outside Donetsk (Avdiyivka and Krasnohorivka). Hostilities have not taken place in the area of the Svitlodar bulge, Zaitseve and Mayorsk for the first time in many days, the spokesman said.

The situation remains hard in the Mariupol area; 29 attacks have been recorded in the past 24 hours, Motuzianyk said.
