Rescuers twice come under repeat fire during cleanup operations in Kharkiv region
Overnight into Thursday, rescue workers twice came under repeated shelling while working to eliminate the consequences of Russian UAV strikes in Kharkiv and the surrounding region; no injuries were reported, according to the State Emergency Service (SES) in the Kharkiv region.
"Hits were recorded in the Zolochiv, Malynivka, and Velykyi Burluk communities, as well as in Kharkiv. Several fires broke out. A 39-year-old woman was injured, and infrastructure facilities and private houses were damaged. During fire extinguishing operations, the enemy launched two repeat strikes. A fire tanker was damaged, but the rescuers were not injured," the statement on the Telegram channel reads.
