Time, place of next meeting of Ukrainian, U.S., Russian teams to be determined depending on security circumstances – Zelenskyy
The time and place of the next meeting of the teams of Ukraine, the United States and the Russian Federation will be determined depending on the security circumstances and real diplomatic opportunities, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
"Depending on the security situation and real diplomatic possibilities, the time and place of the next meeting of our team and the U.S. team – the meeting with the Russians – will be determined," he said during his video address on Saturday.
Zelenskyy said that "Russia must end its aggression against us – against Ukraine and against all of Europe. And security must be guaranteed."
He said that he has issued updated directives to our negotiating team and the broader Ukrainian diplomatic team. "Peace is needed – true peace – and a real possibility for people to live freely and to live safely."
As reported, the next trilateral talks between Ukraine, the United States and the Russian Federation will be held in early March, most likely in Abu Dhabi.
