Kyiv hosts allies from EU and Nordic-Baltic Eight on fourth anniversary of full-scale war by Russia against Ukraine - Syhiba
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha reported that Kyiv is hosting the leadership of the European Commission and the leaders of the Nordic-Baltic Eight today on the fourth anniversary of the full-scale war by Russia against Ukraine.
"Welcome to Kyiv, dear allies, and thank you for supporting Ukraine today and throughout four years of brutal full-scale war," he said on X.
Sybiha noted that he personally welcomed European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President António Costa at the Kyiv Central Railway Station.
In addition, the Minister welcomed the leaders of the Nordic-Baltic Eight, who arrived to demonstrate support for Ukraine in its struggle for freedom and European values: Prime Minister of Estonia Kristen Michal, Prime Minister of Latvia Evika Siliņa, Prime Minister of Iceland Kristrún Frostadóttir, President of Finland Alexander Stubb, Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen, Prime Minister of Sweden Ulf Kristersson, and Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Støre.
"Glad to welcome the leaders of the Nordic-Baltic Eight, our true and close allies in the defense of freedom, justice, and truth," Sybiha said.
