UNSC to meet on Feb 24, anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine
The UN Security Council (UNSC) will hold a special meeting on Tuesday, February 24, to discuss the consequences of four years of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine.
According to the UN Security Council schedule, the 1011th briefing meeting will be held at 3:00 p.m. New York time (10:00 p.m.Kyiv time).
UN Secretary-General António Guterres is expected to give a briefing on the situation in Ukraine.
Guterres, at the opening of the 61st session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva on Monday, confirmed the planned address on February 24.
He said that tomorrow he is scheduled to address the Security Council on the fourth anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, stressing that that it's time to put an end to the bloodshed.
