Combat brigades receive over UAH 4.5 bln in Feb for UAVs, EW – ministry
Combat brigades were allocated over UAH 4.5 billion more in February for ordering drones and electronic warfare (EW) through DOT-Chain Defence, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has said.
"The funds are already available in accounts in personal accounts at DOT-Chain Defence, so the brigades can immediately place orders for the necessary nomenclature," the ministry said on its website on Tuesday.
DOT-Chain Defence works on the principle of a marketplace, where the military can choose the means of destruction and EW they need. Currently, over 470 models of equipment from 135 manufacturers are available on the platform.
"In half a year, about 350,000 units of equipment worth over UAH 16 billion have already been delivered through the DOT-Chain Defence system," the ministry said.
