Applications for UAH 20,000 surcharge for emergency response crews begins Diia app – PM Svyrydenko
On Friday, applications began to be submitted on the Diia portal for an additional payment of UAH 20,000 for workers of emergency and restoration teams who are eliminating the consequences of Russian shelling, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko has said.
"Currently, more than 40,000 specialists are involved in these works across the country - energy specialists, heat specialists, gas specialists, employees of water supply and sewage companies, municipal services, and railway workers. It is these teams that go to damaged facilities and restore critical systems after the attacks," Svyrydenko said on Telegram.
According to her, UAH 20,000 will be paid for each month of participation in restoration work during January-March 2026, and the first payments will be made by the end of this month.
She said that the government has made the procedure as simple as possible: companies submit lists through the Diia portal from the 6th to the 15th of the following month - employees do not need to apply independently.
