Zelenskyy considers performance of Air Force in some regions of Ukraine unsatisfactory

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has held a daily conference call on the situation in Kyiv and other populated areas, as well as in communities bordering Russia and near the front.

“I consider the performance of the Air Force in some regions of Ukraine to be unsatisfactory, and together with the Commander of the Air Force and the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, we discussed which decisions must be immediately implemented to more effectively intercept shaheds,” Zelenskyy said on X Friday.

The President also reported that 1,200 houses in various districts of Kyiv are still without heating supply.

“More support is needed for residents of these buildings. I instructed that digital tools be deployed to identify and analyze the specific needs of people and communities in real time,” the President noted.

Zelenskyy also reported that a significant increase in Russian attacks on the railway was recorded in January.

“The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine reported on the deployment of the necessary forces for recovery efforts and on the operation of assistance points and warming centers. The Minister of Energy reported on the schedule for commissioning cogeneration facilities. The Prime Minister of Ukraine reported on the implementation of government support programs, including the Warmth Packages program – we will be expanding it,” the President reported.
