Defense forces shoot down 297 enemy UAVs, missiles miss their targets – Air Force
On the night of February 6, Russian occupiers attacked Ukrainian territory with 328 Shaheds, Gerberas, and Italmas attack UAVs, as well as other types of drones. They also launched two Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles and five X-59/69 guided air-to-air missiles.
"According to preliminary data, as of 12:30 p.m., air defense forces have shot down or suppressed 297 enemy Shaheds, Gerberas, Italmas, and other types of UAVs. Due to active counteraction by the Defense Forces, the enemy missiles failed to reach their targets; the information is being clarified," the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported.
Additionally, 22 strike drones were recorded at 14 locations, as well as debris falls at two locations.
The air attack was repelled by aircraft, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned aerial systems, and mobile fire teams of the Ukrainian Defense Forces in the north, south, east, and center of the country.
