URCS deploys aid station for victims of UAV attack in Chernihiv
The Ukrainian Red Cross Society(URCS) has set up an aid station in Chernihiv near a residential building damaged by a Russian UAV strike.
"The rapid response team, together with volunteers from the Chernihiv regional branch of the URCS, are working at the site of the strike on a five-story residential building in Chernihiv... Volunteers have set up an URCS aid station," the post on Facebook said on
At the aid station, residents of the damaged building can warm up, receive first aid and psychological support. Volunteers are providing emergency kits, oriented strand board (OSB) and tarpaulins to the residents for temporary repairs to the damaged homes.
As reported, one person was killed and at least nine others were injured in a Russian drone strike on a high-rise building in Chernihiv on the afternoon of December 25. The building was destroyed from the fourth to the second floor. Emergency and search operations have been completed.
