Russian attacks on Christmas Eve lead to additional power outages in several regions - Ministry of Energy
On Christmas Eve, Russia continued its attacks on the Ukrainian energy sector, resulting in additional power outages for consumers in Chernihiv, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv regions, the Ministry of Energy has reported.
The ministry said on Telegram on Christmas Day that there are power outages in the Odess region due to previous shelling.
"Energy workers are doing everything possible to restore all damaged equipment to work as soon as possible and restore power to all consumers. Emergency restoration work continues around the clock," the Ministry of Energy noted.
As previously announced, on Thursday, hourly outage schedules and power limitation schedules for businesses will be applied in all regions of Ukraine.
