US President Donald Trump spoke by phone with the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Trump reported on the topic and course of the conversations on his social network Truth Social on Tuesday.

"I had two wonderful telephone calls this morning with Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. We discussed the importance of bringing Peace to ongoing conflicts, and increased Trade and Cooperation between our Nations. The relationship with both Countries is spectacular. The United States will be hosting the G20 Summit next year, and we will be extending invites to both of these Leaders to join us as guests at this very important event, which will take place in Miami!" Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Information published on the X platform on Tuesday by the Press Office of the President of Kazakhstan suggests that a significant part of the conversation between Tokayev and Trump was devoted to the war in Ukraine.

"During the discussion, a substantive exchange of views took place on the bilateral agenda and key international issues, in particular the situation in Ukraine. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev ... noted the complexity of resolving the Ukrainian conflict, emphasizing that the territorial issue remains central and requires compromises from all sides, taking into account the real situation on the ground. Therefore, Kazakhstan calls on all parties involved to demonstrate patience, flexibility and professionalism, as well as to continue the search for a peaceful formula. At the same time, Kazakhstan does not seek to act as a mediator, but remains ready, if necessary, to offer a place for negotiations in a spirit of goodwill," Tokayev's press office said in a statement on X.

The message on the official website of the President of Uzbekistan about the conversation between Mirziyoyev and Trump does not directly mention the discussion of the situation in Ukraine, except for "high appreciation of Trump's productive efforts" in resolving "acute international crises and conflicts."
