Ukrainian delegation to provide details on talks in Miami at night – Zelenskyy
A delegation from talks with American representatives in Miami is returning to Ukraine, and they will provide details about them at night, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
"Our group is now returning from Miami. We will provide details tonight. In my opinion, we have already completed all the important tasks for the first draft. There are 20 points in the plan. Probably not everything is perfect. But the plan is in place," Zelenskyy said during an event celebrating the Diplomatic Service Day on Monday in Kyiv.
The president noted that a framework document on security guarantees already exists between Ukraine, the EU, and the US, as well as a separate document between Ukraine and the US on bilateral security guarantees.
"These are the documents that should be considered by the United States Congress, along with their details and annexes. The meeting is closed to the press today, so we will not discuss them in detail. However, I have seen the initial developments. Almost 90% of the annexes are important to us, detailing what our army and Ukraine can expect after such guarantees are signed and how strong we can be," he emphasized.
According to the head of state, the first draft of the agreement on Ukraine's restoration is currently being developed.
"That is, in principle, the basic block of all documents, in my opinion, is ready. There are some things that we are not ready for. And there are things that the Russians are not ready for," Zelenskyy noted.
