Defense forces destroy 66 Russian drones, hit 26 strike UAVs at 9 locations
On the night of October 27, the Russian occupiers attacked the territory of Ukraine with 100 attack UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera type and drones of other types, the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has said.
"According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, air defense systems shot down/suppressed 66 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera type and drones of other types in the north, south and east of the country," the message on the Telegram channel states.
In addition, 26 attack UAVs were recorded hitting nine locations.
The attack is currently ongoing, with several enemy UAVs in the airspace.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
