Ukrainian MFA confirms info about traffic accident involving Ukrainians in Austria: four citizens die
A traffic accident occurred near Scheiblingkirchen (Austria), according to police, four Ukrainian citizens were killed and four more people were seriously injured, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reported.
"At about 7 a.m. on April 1, near Scheiblingkirchen, Austria, a traffic accident occurred. A minibus with eight Ukrainian citizens crashed into a truck. The Ukrainian consul immediately arrived at the scene. According to the police, four Ukrainian citizens (born in 1960, 1963, 1970, 1971) were killed, and another four people were seriously injured," the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
It is noted that there were two Spanish citizens in the truck, who were also injured.
"The Ukrainian consul is at the scene of the incident, providing assistance to Ukrainian citizens, and is working with the agencies involved," the Foreign Ministry press service added.
Earlier, Die Zeit reported, citing Austrian police, that four women were killed in a collision between a minibus and a truck in Austria on Tuesday, the minibus driver and three other women were seriously injured, all passengers in the minibus were from Ukraine.
