Mayors of Kyiv and Toulouse discuss economic and cultural cooperation
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko met with the mayor of the twin city of Toulouse, Jean-Luc Moudenc, and a delegation from the mayor's office of this French city and discussed with them issues of economic and cultural cooperation.
"Friendship and cooperation between Kyiv and Toulouse began in 1975. And we continue to develop economic and cultural ties between the cities. Kyiv is ready to join cooperation in future joint projects. This also concerns support in the restoration of the Ukrainian capital. In particular, the restoration of infrastructure facilities damaged by the aggressor," Klitschko wrote on Telegram on Monday.
The mayors signed the Declaration of Sister Cities on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of friendly relations between the cities and planted a tree on the Friendship Alley on Volodymyrska Hirka (Hill).
