Number of clashes on front exceeds 200 per day, third of which in Pokrovsk direction – General Staff

The number of combat clashes on all fronts of the Russian-Ukrainian war over the past day reached 207, while during the past week it fluctuated between 140 and 166 per day, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Facebook on Wednesday morning.

The most difficult situation remains in Pokrovsk direction in Donetsk region, where 69 enemy assaults took place on Tuesday (a third of the total), while in previous days there were between 37 and 61.

Also, a significant increase in the number of Russian attacks is noted in Novo-Pavlivsk direction, where there were 23 clashes on Tuesday, and in the previous days during the week - from 9 to 17, as well as in Kursk region of the Russian Federation, where 29 enemy attacks were recorded, and during the week from 17 to 25 were recorded daily. An increase in the number of clashes is also recorded in Lymany and Toretsk directions.

In addition, the occupiers became significantly more active in Orikhiv direction, where nine enemy attacks were repelled in one day, and during the week there were days when the enemy did not attack there at all.
