Average bill of digital project is UAH 5-8 mln - CEO of MODUS X

The cost of an average digitalization project is UAH 5-8 million, and this is enough to create basic things, said CEO of IT company MODUS X Dmytro Osyka.
"It depends on the ambitions and goals of the program. From our experience, the average check for an external client is UAH 5-8 million. This is an average project. In my opinion, for small tasks, that is, for creating software things, applications, without any serious infrastructure investments, without sensors, etc., this is a completely normal amount," Osyka said in an exclusive interview with the Interfax-Ukraine agency.
According to him, for example, for investments in cybersecurity, for the purchase of equipment, this amount will not be enough.
Osyka explained that projects worth UAH 20-40 million are already large projects, and more are "large-scale implementations."
"There are different levels of client maturity. Some need a lot to reach at least some level, because they have not done this before, they are just starting to do it. And there you need to finance in the long term. And there are clients who feel quite normal, because they have invested before, and they have tasks for tuning, refinement, and implementation of innovations. That is, depending on the scale, request, this average check may change," the head of MODUS X described the situation.
MODUS X CEO Dmytro Osyka said it was formed at the end of 2022, separating from the structure of the DTEK energy holding after the implementation of the three-year digital transformation program of the DTEK Modus group of companies, in order to gain competitiveness in the market, including outside Ukraine, and gain new prospects.
