Zelenskyy, Sandu discuss support for Ukraine, Moldova
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Moldovan President Maia Sandu discussed support for Ukraine and Moldova during their talks in Kyiv.
"Today we are talking about support for Ukraine, we talked a lot about support for Moldova. Security in this region is also very important for us," Zelenskyy said during a press conference with Sandu, an Interfax-Ukraine correspondent reports.
The president also said Ukraine can help in the energy sector, since Moldova is passing through "artificial energy created by Moscow." He said Ukraine is ready to help with coal to service the Moldovan State District Power Plant.
In addition, the leaders discussed security issues, Zelenskyy said Ukraine and Moldova will continue to coordinate on these issues. Zelenskyy and Sandu also discussed transport infrastructure.
