The Ukrainian Red Cross Society (URCS) is working at the site of the elimination of the consequences of the attack of Russian drones in Mykolaiv.

“The emergency response team of the Ukrainian Red Cross in the Mykolaiv region swiftly arrived at the scene of the drone attack last night. Several teams were deployed to different locations affected by the attacks,” URCS said on Facebook.

The volunteers provided first aid to the injured and psychological first aid to the victims and their families. At one location, volunteers set up an aid station where both affected individuals and emergency service personnel could receive assistance and warm drinks, such as tea and coffee.

The team from the Mykolaiv regional branch of the Ukrainian Red Cross has also set up two support stations for those affected. Volunteers are distributing blankets, hygiene kits, and food to people whose homes were damaged in the attack. The work is ongoing.

As reported, two people were injured after a Russian drone attack in Mykolaiv on Wednesday night. As a result of the hit of ammunition and their debris, residential apartment buildings and private houses were damaged. Fourteen customers are disconnected from the gas supply, 94 are de-energized, and 21 residential buildings are left without heat supply.
