Rada extends martial law and mobilization until May 9
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted a bill approving the presidential decree "On the extension of martial law in Ukraine" (No. 12404), introduced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"The Verkhovna Rada has extended martial law for 90 days - until May 9," Ukrainian MP Oleksiy Honcharenko said on his Telegram channel on Wednesday.
The MP reports that the bill was passed by 315 votes.
In turn, MP Yaroslav Zhelezniak notes that "next is the signing by the president," and "this will be the 14th time when the Rada votes for martial law and mobilization - from February 8 to May 9 this year."
