Zelenskyy submits bills to Parliament on extension of martial law, mobilization for another 90 days

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a bill approving the presidential decree "On extending martial law in Ukraine" (No. 12404).
"To approve the decree of the President of Ukraine dated January 14, 2025 No. 26/2025 ‘On the extension of martial law in Ukraine,’" reads the text of the bill, registered in Parliament on Tuesday under No. 12404.
The attached text of the document says of the extension of martial law in Ukraine "from 05:30 on February 8, 2025 for a period of 90 days."
The presidential bill has been registered under No. 12405 approving another decree, "On extending the general mobilization period."
"As a partial amendment to Article 3 of Decree of the President of Ukraine dated February 24, 2022 No. 65/2022 ‘On general mobilization ... to extend from February 8, 2025 the period of extension of general mobilization for 90 days," the text of the decree attached to the draft law says.
